Pete has been Headmaster of Kingsley School, Bideford, since January 2017, having moved from Stowe School where he was an exceptionally experienced and talented schoolmaster. As Deputy Head at Stowe, he was at the heart of one of England’s leading independent boarding schools for over a decade. Pete was educated at Alleyn’s School, London and read Geography at St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge. Pete is passionate about education and is enjoying leading Kingsley forward in this exciting chapter of its history.

Zuzia was born and raised in London. She obtained her BSc in Geography at the University of Plymouth, where she also found her love for surfing. After moving to Portugal in 2001, she was awarded a PhD, and consecutive post-doctoral scholarships that allowed her to experience science in a variety of settings, including working aboard ocean vessels and long stints at Japanese laboratories to fieldwork in remote regions of the world. She continues to collaborate and hold close ties with the Paleoceanography departments at IPMA and CCMAR and supervise PhD students abroad.

Saif is the Senior Scientist at Greene's Tutorial College, co-ordinating all science and science practical tuition. He tutors Biology and Chemistry and runs the College’s Biology science practical course. He is a passionate tutor and keen scientific researcher – even building his own artificial coral reef. Saif has a First Class Honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester, UK and a doctorate (D.Phil) in Medical Oncology from University of Oxford, UK. One of his many specialities is microscopy.

After a distinguished career in commercial geology, Alex turned to his first love of teaching. He has over 20 years of lecturing and tutoring experience in Geography, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Geology and Sociology and continues to work as a lecturer for the M.Sc course in Applied Micropalaeontology at the University of Birmingham, U.K.

Rowena is a chemist and after having received First Class Honours in Chemistry at the University of Oxford she went on to complete a Ph.D. at the University of Birmingham on “Zeolites and other molecular sieves for chromate remediation”. Rowena has been tutoring in Chemistry for the last ten years and during that time was also a Research Fellow in Physical Chemistry at the University of Birmingham. Rowena is also a fully qualified rock-climbing instructor.

In the late 1990s Mario began a career in education, founding a number of projects and schools, including Oxford Science Studies (1997), Oxford International College (2002), Oxford International Education (2008), and The Oxford Summer Academy (2010). In 2019 Oxford International College achieved the number 1 ranking in the UK for A-level results with 91% A*/A grades.
Mario is also co-founder and Chairman of the Youth Leadership Trust, a charity to develop an 'Awareness and Leadership Curriculum' for UK schools, a member of the Development and Innovation Board at the University of Buckingham, and has served as a school governor for 10 years. He is married with three sons.

A graduate form Clare College, Cambridge in Natural Sciences, Daniel has worked extensively across the world in diverse places like West Africa and Mongolia in the field of Natural Resources and Finance. Now working in Education, Daniel is an advocate of teaching children the skills relevant to their future and is currently Managing Director of KSI Schools.
